The most wonderful time of the year for me is any time when I can dress up, get creative and celebrate fashion. This past week was all about that. Now that the dust is starting to settle, I wanted to bring you the 5 looks I wore for Fashion Week as well as items suggestions for you to GET THE LOOK. Let’s go!

DAY 1: ALL ABOUT COLOR

On the first day, I decided to wear my take on the very popular “peplum trend”. I love the shape a peplum top or dress gives to the female body. The peplum look is both chic and ultra feminine. What’s not to love? I added my own twist by creating my peplum top and turban in a colorful African inspired print that I found in my mother’s fabric collection. This outfit was fun, flirty and perfect for the hectic day of art gazing, fashion shows and interviews I had ahead of me.

This is what I wore:

CUSTOM MADE PEPLUM TOP by Me | CUSTOM MADE TURBAN by Me | SKINNY JEANS by Zara | BLACK HANDBAG by Miu Miu | YELLOW PEEP TOE PUMPS by Tracy Reese | SILVER STUD EARRINGS | SILVER BANGLES | SILVER RING I picked up in Costa Rica | STATEMENT NECKLACE from Macy’s.

On my nails: Sally Hensen’s Salon Effects in “Mod About You”.

If you like this look, here is how you can re-create it: GET THE LOOK.
