Hello loves,

Today, I am bringing you another healthy recipe that I have been loving: Banana & Chia Refrigerator Oats. I discovered this recipe on YouTube a few weeks ago and have been eating it ever since.

It is a simple recipe perfect for us girls on the go. It only takes 5 minutes to prepare as you will see below.

Note: The original recipe uses greek yogurt but since I try to stay away from dairy I replace the yogurt with coconut milk. 

Overnight Banana-Chia Refrigerator Oats

YIELD: 1 SERVING

PREP TIME: 5 MINUTES + 6 HOURS IN FRIDGE

COOK TIME: 0 MINUTES

TOTAL TIME: 6 HOURS + 5 MINUTES

Ingredients:

  • 1/3 cup rolled oats
  • 1/3 cup 2% Greek yogurt or Coconut Milk
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1/2 banana, diced
  • 1 tsp. chia seeds
  • 1 tbsp ground cinnamon

Directions:

Combine all ingredients in a mason jar or some type of container with an airtight lid. Mix everything together, pop on the lid, and place in the fridge for 6-8 hours (or overnight). And voila, your oats should be ready to eat in the morning. If you are not a fan of cold oats just heat them up in the microwave for 1 – 2 minutes.
