I am beyond excited to celebrate one of the best week’s in fashion, starting today. New York Fashion Week is the height of fabulosity in all the Americas and I get to be a part of it! I’ll be kicking off the festivities by attending a few Fashion Night Out (FNO) events namely at Macy’s, Lord & Taylor, Earnest Alexander and Ivanka Trumps’ Soho boutique.
FNO is great. You get to get all dolled up, eat good food, drink, brush shoulders with celebrities, get makeovers and shop with your girlfriends. It is the ultimate girl’s night out but guys are welcomed too, of course! What could be better than that?  I am particularly looking forward to the Ivanka Trump event. This year she is teaming up with Girl Up – United Nations Foundation for a night of girl power. Girl Up’s mission is to empower American girls and train them to become world changers. Girl Up believes that every girl, wherever she is in the world should have access to education, health and  have the opportunity to lead. Needless to say that any event mixing fashion and female empowerment is so Fashion With A Conscience!
