Trying to predict the trendy forecast of Fall’s fashion? Well, the answer is right outside your window. Just as the summer’s supple and vibrantly green leaves morph into more structured shapes with deeper and richer colors during the fall…so do fashion trends! We trade in our mischievous minis for dapper trousers and wave goodbye to provocative bustiers, while welcoming the graceful flares of peplum tops.
This fall, give your closet a trendy makeover with these 5 must have must-haves.
#1 The Poncho. As temperatures cool down, the poncho is a great choice for bundling up. It has dramatic volume and wonderful texture. The poncho pairs nicely with simple blue jeans and cute clutches.

When your jeans or pleated skirts aren’t quite the day’s choice, go for the match-stick pants. Wear with a solid colored top and blazer for a perfectly trendy look. Note: Hem of pants should stop at your ankle…no lower…no higher.
#3 Autumn Knits. At first sight of a freckled leaf, I anxiously pull-out my pull-overs. The wonderful patterns and textures of knit sweaters are easily balanced with silk trousers or playful skirts.  Note: For cropped sweaters pair with a high-waisted bottom.
#4 The Peplum Top. This top is flattering, feminine and forgiving. The dramatic detailing helps balance bold ‘lady lumps’ while trimming the waist. Wear peplum tops with pencil skirts or your favorite matchstick pants. (pic)
