They’re new, they’re hot and they’re available today! Warby Parker is launching its Winter 2013 eyewear collection and each pair is only $95 including prescription lenses. WP is a great company because it seamlessly marries chic and charity. In addition to designing affordable prescription glasses and sunglasses, WP donates glasses to vision-impaired individuals who otherwise would not be able to afford it. For every pair you buy they give a pair. That’s what I call the best of both worlds. To date, they’ve given over half a million pairs and it’s only the beginning. They’ve created six new shapes and five new colors for you to choose from.

Let’s face it. It’s November and with that comes the inevitable fact that winter is right around the corner. The weather is getting cooler, hemlines are getting longer but this does not mean that your style should suffer. Whether you are chic or a geek at heart I created two looks with WP frames to help you transition into the colder season.

Style Struck: Warby Parker Eyewear

For the GEEK look I paired WP’s Durand and Lyle glasses with a white tee, skinny ripped jeans and a short leather jacket. I accessorized the outfit with a saddle bag perfect to carry your schoolbooks or laptop, burgundy booties and a felt fedora hat. On the CHIC end, I paired the “Seymour and Durand” styles with a soft leather jacket with a very of-the-moment asymmetrical skirt and a leopard peplum top. I accessorized this look with a gold & black clutch and added a pop of color with blue pumps.

Glasses are the perfect accessory for the season and whether you wear them for function or fashion WP has a pair for you. You can get into indoor mischief, play in the snow and even offer them as gifts. So, be the first of your friends to rock these geek to chic frames and start looking at life on the bright side.

Stay Conscious + Chic!
