Over the years, I have been fortunate enough to explore some of the most coveted backstage areas in fashion. From New York Fashion Week to underground events, all backstage areas have a few things in common: beautiful people, insane levels of creativity, free goodies, yummy food and some of the most fascinating people you will ever meet. The World MasterCard Fashion Week backstage was no exception. Some of my standout moments backstage this season were witnessing the creative genius of the Redken and Maybelline teams respectfully spearheaded by Jorge Jao and Grace Lee. I also loved speaking to the masterminds behind the David Dixon, Tatsuaki, Travis Taddeo, Melissa Nepton, Sid Neigum, Christopher Bates, Narces, Matthew Gallagher and Mikael D Spring / Summer 2014 collections.
