Vivienne Westwood presented her FW14 collection at London Fashion Week last week Sunday. Westwood whose style has become synonymous with rebellion and counter – cultural has had an incredibly long career in fashion. She debuted in 1971 designing Teddy Boy clothes and presented her first runway show ‘Pirates’ in 1981. Her style and sources of inspiration have changed greatly over the years going from pagans to ragamuffins to English history. Westwood has been a major player in the fashion industry both in the UK and around the world for over 40 years and is ready to reign supreme on a different kind of fashion: fashion for the planet.

Westwood’s priorities are shifting, “I have decided not to expand any more. In fact, I want to do the opposite,” she told the Observer, “I am now more interested in quality rather than quantity.” With the help of celebrities like George Clooney, Chris Martin and model Georgia May Jagger, she is promoting her latest creation: a t-shirt for Greenpeace’s ‘Save the Arctic’ initiative. [GET A SHIRT] Greenpeace’s goal is to create a global sanctuary around the North Pole, and ban offshore drilling and destructive industry in the Arctic. You can join them by signing the petition.

You can check out her Red Label FW14 collection below after you complete your online t-shirt purchase and sign the petition, of course!
