I discovered this recipe on <a href=\"http:\/\/youtu.be\/2LPrGyivUm8\">YouTube<\/a>\u00c2\u00a0a few weeks ago and have been eating it ever since.<\/p>\n<p>It is a simple recipe perfect for us girls on the go. It only takes 5 minutes to prepare as you will see below.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Note:<\/strong> The original recipe uses greek yogurt but since I try to stay away from dairy I replace the yogurt with coconut milk.\u00c2\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<h2>Overnight Banana-Chia Refrigerator Oats<\/h2>\n<div>\n<p><strong>YIELD:<\/strong>\u00c2\u00a01 SERVING<\/p>\n<p><strong>PREP TIME:<\/strong>\u00c2\u00a05 MINUTES + 6 HOURS IN FRIDGE<\/p>\n<p><strong>COOK TIME:<\/strong>\u00c2\u00a00 MINUTES<\/p>\n<p><strong>TOTAL TIME:<\/strong>\u00c2\u00a06 HOURS + 5 MINUTES<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<h3>Ingredients:<\/h3>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>1\/3 cup rolled oats<\/li>\n<li>1\/3 cup 2% Greek yogurt or Coconut Milk<\/li>\n<li>1\/3 cup unsweetened almond milk<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 banana, diced<\/li>\n<li>1 tsp. chia seeds<\/li>\n<li>1 tbsp ground cinnamon<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<h3>Directions:<\/h3>\n<div>\n<p>Combine all ingredients in a mason jar or some type of container with an airtight lid. Mix everything together, pop on the lid, and place in the fridge for 6-8 hours (or overnight). And voila, your oats should be ready to eat in the morning.
