As you may have guessed it, NeoTress is a natural hair care subscription service that provides its subscribers with everything they need to care and style their hair on their own. NeoTress was created by Nicole Lashae Ben out of her own need for painless natural hair care information and hairstyles. Every month, she and her team curate a variety of products to send along with helpful tips and styling instructions.<\/p>\n

THE CHIC: Hairstyle Tutorials<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

NeoTress really goes the extra mile by sending, in addition to the products and the usual paraphernalia, a step by step instruction video to achieve the style of the month.The tutorials provided are clear and easy to follow. And most importantly, the styles are cute! The days of spending hours upon hours on YouTube looking for and watching tutorials is over. Believe me, I\u2019ve been there.<\/p>\n

I received NeoTress\u2019 February box, which included five products:\u00a0Oyin handmade honey shampoo and conditioner<\/a>, Jane Carter Solution leave-in conditioner<\/a>, Dream curling creme<\/a>, and Ampro styling gel<\/a>. The featured style of the month was a wash and go<\/a>, but since\u00a0I was then and am still in full protective style mode I decided to\u00a0put the products to the test to prepare my hair to be cornrowed. I was very pleased with the results. I was able to use all the products to wash and moisturize my hair. Even the gel was of use to lay my edges. The products sent were full-size products at the exception of the\u00a0Oyin’s handmade honey shampoo and conditioner.\u00a0\u00a0But for the price of the box, it’s a really great value. I was also happily surprised, at how soft and moisturized my low porosity hair felt. If you don\u2019t know what hair porosity is, it\u2019s your\u00a0hair’s\u00a0ability to absorb moisture and is broken down into three categories:\u00a0low, normal and high. Since my hair has low porosity, it tends to be very dry and hard to moisturize but these products did the trick.<\/p>\n

I highly recommend you try NeoTress<\/a>. I loved that most of the products were natural and good for my hair’s health.\u00a0I also give them a double thumbs up for the convenience of getting the products and styling instructions delivered to me. Lastly, the price of $12 \/month can’t be beat.<\/p>\n
