If you watched my latest<\/span> unboxing video<\/a>, you know that I love discovering new products with you. I started doing unboxing videos on<\/span> Instagram Stories<\/a> first after realizing how much I liked to watch other people opening PR packages and sharing their initial reactions to the products. The value I found in these videos was the opportunity to see what was new and hear the first impressions of people I trusted without ever leaving the comfort about my own home!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

I don’t think most people do unboxing videos to brag because that would just be awkward. I do them to share the latest and newest with you, to let you know what’s exciting in our industry.\u00a0The ethical lifestyle industry is new so it’s important to spread the word by any means necessary so rest assured that I don’t do unboxing videos to show off but to show you what’s available and ethically chic in our world.<\/span><\/p>\n

I also do unboxing videos to thank the brands for their generosity. I feel blessed to receive these goodies so I have to spread the love. You should know that when a brand reaches out to me, I respectfully ask them to see their products first so I can determine whether they are worth presenting to you.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

What I look at when unboxing a new package:<\/strong><\/span><\/h5>\n
    \n
  1. Packaging and presentation,<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Information about the product(s) and company,<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. Personal note from the brand,<\/span><\/li>\n
  4. Products look, feel and smell (if applicable).<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    I have turned down brands that didn’t fit into the Conscious N Chic ethos because at the end of the day it’s not about getting free stuff but supporting brands that share our values.<\/span><\/p>\n
