Water is one of those basic necessities we rarely think about. It runs freely in our showers, sinks and toilets. We bathe, cook and clean with it. Some of us love to drink water on a hot summer day, some can’t seem to remember to drink the recommended 8 glasses per day. In addition to all the practical uses we have for water, kids and adults alike even use it to play – whether it’s in a pool, at the sprinklers or fighting with water balloons.<\/p>\n

We take water for granted. But in a place like the United States who wouldn’t? Living in a city where your next glass of water is as close as the next faucet or the nearest convenient store is a blessing. Living in a city or village where you have to walk for miles in order to get water is a shame and can even be deadly. Here’s what I mean:<\/p>\n
