I despise winter and I know some of you share the same sentiment and here is why. Cold weather is terrible for the skin, hands and hair, slipping on the ice can cause serious injuries and street salt is damaging for boots. In addition to all of this, winter is the season for colds, stomach virus’ and the flu. Do I need to keep going? But spring is different. I know what you are thinking: spring also brings unwanted illnesses such as allergies and colds due to the radical changes in temperature, granted. But at least the weather is more enjoyable. \u00c2\u00a0Not to mention that spring is also when birds start singing again and sun comes out with its warm rays which gently touch our skin. And let’s not forget spring fashion in all its feminine glory. As most of you already know, I love fall fashion mainly because it offers so much versatility in layering and spring is the perfect season for a different kind of layering. As fabrics become lighter and lighter, layering can make for pretty and comfortable chic. Think silk blouse with long statement necklace and polka dot blazer or 1950’s polka dot\u00c2\u00a0dress with light cashmere cardigan.\u00c2\u00a0Spring is also one of my favorite seasons because it opens up a whole new world of colors from sorbet shades to gemstones. Not to mention that it comes right before beach season! Did I say beach season? Everybody freak out! … Stop… Don’t worry you still have a few months before the real heat sets in so hit the gym now and put down the french fries.<\/p>\n

Speaking of beaches, one of the world’s most popular attraction, this month over 1 billion people will be celebrating the Earth and all the wonders it has to offer. Earth day is officially on April 22 but instead of focusing on the earth for only a day, we decided to dedicate this entire issue to Earth Day. \u00c2\u00a0This Earth issue will include, in addition to the spring trends we can’t wait for you to try, \u00c2\u00a0the best ethnic inspired fashion, video tutorials, natural skin products and earth inspired make up looks.<\/p>\n
