I came across this #ConsciousChic Memo I posted on\u00c2\u00a0Instagram<\/a> about 3 weeks ago and I would like to share my thoughts on it with you today.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

This quote (my own words) depicts a crucial moment in every individual’s life: the moment when he or she decides what career to pursue. There are so many factors to take into consideration during this process: personal interests, innate abilities, desired lifestyle and purchasing power, scholarships or the lack thereof, \u00c2\u00a0grades, parental expectations etc. And to think that \u00c2\u00a0this very important decision has to be made by a 16 or 17-year-old who is about to graduate high-school. That’s a big responsibility don’t you think? Needless to say that many end up wandering from major to major for years before settling on a career path, others get a degree only to find out that they hate their job a few years later. There has to be a better way.<\/p>\n

This quote may seem simplistic but it is so profound. It poses a fundamental question that demands an answer: what do I want to do with my life and how do I know I made the right choice?<\/p>\n

As always I want to hear from you. How did you choose your career path? What advice would you give someone who hasn’t quite found their way yet?<\/p>\n
