The Grammy Awards is one of the most coveted &#8220;Best Dressed&#8221; nights of the awards season outside of the Oscars. But unfortunately, this red carpet was underwhelming to say the least. I watched celebrities after celebrities walk the red carpet and no one really stood out as being amazingly forked. In my opinion no one took any good risks fashion or beauty wise. To top it all off, Rihanna who usually raises the stakes was not in attendance.<\/p>\n<p>To the starlets credit however I must say that the majority of them looked nice. Just nice.<\/p>\n<p><strong>DAFT PUNK<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.fashionwithaconscience.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/grammy-awards-11_205137873486.jpg_gallery_max.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-9026\" src=\"http:\/\/www.fashionwithaconscience.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/grammy-awards-11_205137873486.jpg_gallery_max.jpg\" alt=\"grammy-awards-11_205137873486.jpg_gallery_max\" width=\"376\" height=\"606\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I just love Daft Punk! These guys were suited up to the T in Yves Saint-Laurent. Their sharp look along with the robot helmets worked for me. I know it may be weird for most but I loved it. This was a beautiful look for her. The dress was classy and fit her like a glove.<\/p>\n<p><strong>CIARA<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.fashionwithaconscience.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/o-CIARA-570.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-9023\" src=\"http:\/\/www.fashionwithaconscience.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/o-CIARA-570.jpg\" alt=\"56th GRAMMY Awards - Red Carpet\" width=\"570\" height=\"841\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Ciara wore a Pucci gown which showed off her baby bump and glowing skin. She is carrying this pregnancy beautifully.<\/p>\n<p><strong>TAMAR BRAXTON<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.fashionwithaconscience.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/39b08c94-2c4c-41c9-9f75-fff86df32a8f_TamarBraxton-Grammys.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-9030\" src=\"http:\/\/www.fashionwithaconscience.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/39b08c94-2c4c-41c9-9f75-fff86df32a8f_TamarBraxton-Grammys.jpg\" alt=\"39b08c94-2c4c-41c9-9f75-fff86df32a8f_TamarBraxton-Grammys\" width=\"545\" height=\"819\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Tamar Braxton looked beautiful in a fire-red Michael Costello number. Red is my favorite color and it complimented her skin tone and blond bob perfectly.<\/p>\n<p><strong>BEYONCE<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.fashionwithaconscience.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/o-BE-570.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-9021\" src=\"http:\/\/www.fashionwithaconscience.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/o-BE-570.jpg\" alt=\"56th GRAMMY Awards - Press Room\" width=\"570\" height=\"845\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Bey shocked us all on stage in a scandalous bodysuit showing off her derri\u00e8re but her look on the carpet felt a little dated. She wore a couture gown by Michael Costello. The gown in and of itself was beautiful however many of you compared her entire look to a dress and haircut Rihanna rocked back in 2010. Let&#8217;s face it, the lace &amp; naked skin look is pass\u00c3\u00a9 and very JLo.<\/p>\n<p><strong>PINK<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.fashionwithaconscience.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/pink.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-9024\" src=\"http:\/\/www.fashionwithaconscience.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/pink.jpg\" alt=\"pink\" width=\"538\" height=\"783\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Pink looked nice in a bright Johanna Johnson gown. The details on the dress helped elevate the otherwise very simple style. I loved the colors and the pattern of the suit. Michele landed herself on a few &#8220;worst dressed&#8221; lists as well but I think it&#8217;s a matter of perspective. I didn&#8217;t care for the white shoes so much but her natural haircut and bright lip saved the day!<\/p>\n<p><strong>RITA ORA<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.fashionwithaconscience.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/o-RITA-570-1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-9027\" src=\"http:\/\/www.fashionwithaconscience.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/o-RITA-570-1.jpg\" alt=\"56th GRAMMY Awards - Arrivals\" width=\"570\" height=\"857\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Rita Ora&#8217;s red carpet look had a lot of potential. It fell a little short for me but the online universe seemed to like it.
