My ailment? Hormonal acne. It is not an aggressive, all over your face kind of acne but it is just as annoying. Every month, I can have anywhere from three to ten breakouts depending on how I eat and how well I keep up with my skincare regiment. The product I want to share with you today is by far one of the best products I have tried to date and it is all natural:\u00a0<strong>Corpa Flora&#8217;s Beaut\u00e9 Divine, Camellia Cleansing Oil.\u00a0<\/strong>As a beauty and fashion blogger, I try a ridiculous amount of beauty products and put my face through hell sometimes. Thankfully my skin always bounces back and forgives me.<\/p>\n<p><strong>THE BACK STORY<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I first met the founder of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.corpaflora.com\/?lang=en\">Corpa Flora<\/a>, C\u00e9line Champigny in a local health food store in Montreal. We had an enriching conversation about health and the need for more natural beauty products that actually worked on the market. She was kind enough to give me a full size bottle of her cleansing oil to try. I am so glad I did!<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Note: Corpa Flora did not pay me to write this review. The opinions below are truthful and all based on my personal experience with the product.\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>THE OIL CLEANSING METHOD (OCM)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Cleansing oils are said to clear impurities from the skin without being harsh like soaps can be. They are said to be gentle, natural and leave the skin hydrated. According to the OCM <a href=\"http:\/\/www.theoilcleansingmethod.com\">website<\/a> the oil cleansing method is:<\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;The basic concept of this skin care and cleansing method is that the oil used to massage your skin will dissolve the oil that has hardened with impurities and found itself stuck in your pores. The steam will open your pores, allowing the oil to be easily removed. Should you need it, the smallest drop of the same oil formula patted over damp skin will provide the necessary lubrication to keep your skin from over-compensating in oil production.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p>I tried the OCM on my acne-prone skin with an oil mixture recommended online: castor oil + sweet almond oil and my face literally freaked out. My pores were clogged, my skin was inflamed and I had more breakouts than ever before. The breakouts I experienced were of all sorts: white heads, black heads, I even had underground pimples. You know, the ones that really hurt. It was an absolute nightmare. Thankfully my experience with Corpa Flora was different.<\/p>\n<p><strong>HOW CORPA FLORA, BEAUT\u00c9 DIVINE CLEANSING OIL WORKS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Corpa Flora line was developed by C\u00e9line Champigny, a chemist with over 20 years of experience in University Research Laboratories. She created the <strong>Camellia Cleansing Oil<\/strong>\u00a0to do everything a cleansing oil is supposed to do: cleanse, detoxify and hydrate all skin types. But in addition to that the Corpa Flora formula, once in contact with water, becomes a cleansing milk. This special property is absolute genius.<\/p>\n<p><strong>HOW I USE IT<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I use Corpa Flora&#8217;s cleansing oil every night. I squirt two pumps into my dry and clean hands, rub my hands together and apply the oil to my face working it in to breakdown my makeup. Once my face looks like a muddy mess, I rinse my hands and continue the cleansing process with wet hands. The oil then turns white which lets me know that the oil is now a cleansing milk. I continue to massage it in for 30 seconds and rinse everything off. Then, I use a washcloth wet in warm \/ hot water to remove all the impurities and remaining makeup. At this point the process is complete but being the clean freak that I am, I like to repeat the process one last time, using a single pump this time and skipping the washcloth step.<\/p>\n<p>Corpa Flora has turned me from sceptic to an adept believer in the oil cleansing method. I started seeing results approximately three weeks after beginning use. Thanks to this product I&#8217;ve been able to stop using makeup remover and improve my acne naturally.
